Slip Resistance Test Data
We tested SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coatings with the world's most precise and accurate test device for assessing floor slip safety - the pendulum DCOF tester. It has a peer-reviewed published test method in over 50 nations on five continents, and has been in use for well over 50 years now. ASTM E303-22 is the USA's version of the pendulum test, but there's different pendulum test published in the European Union, The United Kingdom, Australia, Israel, Singapore, India, China, and dozens of other countries all around the world.

We also tested, just for those who prefer not using proven international science, with the BOT-3000E, which should never be used to assess safety based on the fact that the ANSI A326.3 test method specifically states that you shouldn't use the test to assess safety, and it admits that the BOT-3000E has problems with precision.
We also tested with ASTM's now-withdrawn C1028 SCOF test because some misinformed architects and municipal officials still think that test was based on science. It was not, and that is why is was withdrawn by the ASTM in 2014, never to return.
Both ASTM C1028 and ANSI A326.3 were written by representatives of the American flooring industry to fool flooring consumers into buying shiny, polished flooring with fake slip test dat not based on internationally-accepted science.. The flooring-industry-written test that is used today, ANSI A326.3, admits to the BOT-3000E lacking precision and having serious limitations which makes it incapable of being a slip resistance safety tool. But we've included data from that test as well because the American flooring industry has put a ton of money and effort into fooling architects and specifiers into believing this test is the best thing since sliced bread. It's actually the cause of countless avoidable slips.
SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coating has the same slip resistance as an professional basketball floor as specified by ASTM when it is dry. SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coating passes any wet slip resistance safety test easily!
Why didn't we test SparkleTuff™ with the English XL or the Brungraber Mark IIIB? Don't even get us started on those fake slip test devices. They lack precision and have no published test method, which means the English XL and Brungraber Mark IIIB are fake science.
SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coatings, with it's sustainable wet slip resistance, retains great slip resistance even after a million people have walked across it. Other anti-slip floor treatments come in a bottle with a bunch of water added. These acid etches like "Stone Grip" are temporary solutions that you'll have to do again and again every six months or so. SparkleTuff™ Anti-Slip Floor Coating will last for a decade or more in most situations! Look great - no slips!!
